Swedish distributor IBP Scandinavia signs an agreement with Danish group Matas as a new sales channel for the Danish market. One of the first products in the range will be Baby Brezza’s popular formula preparation machine.
“This is an important strategic initiative. Matas has one of the Nordics’ largest retail networks within beauty and health, and this opens up an entirely new segment for us,” says Behzad Rahimi, Sales Director at IBP Scandinavia.
IBP Scandinavia provides distribution, marketing, after-sales and customer service for international companies looking to sell in the Nordic market. Matas Group is a leading group in the Nordics within beauty and health, and has among other things previously been the main distributor for Swedish Kicks.
IBP Scandinavia has now signed an agreement with Matas as a new sales channel in Denmark. The range will include Baby Brezza’s formula preparation machine, dishwasher, steriliser and portable warmer.
“Through this partnership, we reach entirely new target groups, primarily within the beauty segment. This gives us coverage across almost the entire Danish market within beauty, health, baby and home electronics.”
Denmark is one of IBP Scandinavia’s fastest-growing markets. Baby Brezza products are already sold in Denmark via the channels baby, electronics and pharmacy.
“The partnership with Matas will play an important role in expanding our sales channels and strengthening our position in the Danish market.”
The agreement with Matas is a first step in the partnership, and IBP Scandinavia sees significant potential for it to develop over time.
“The ambition is that Matas will carry consumer brands from our product portfolio, but also that we will seek to gain access to other Nordic sales channels,” says Behzad Rahimi, Sales Director at IBP Scandinavia.
